If our teens would only confide in us the distressing interactions they are experiencing at the hands of their peers they would find safety and comfort to counter the wounding world they find themselves in. However, as teens spiral deeper into peer culture, they become de-sensitised to the insensitivity of their peers, thinking it to be “normal” – God help us! - and therefore acceptable in some way.
